Bringing Legs to The Flexibility Party
What did you discover exploring spinal flexibility in your playing? Did you find places you brace? Did you uncover new resonance or new contact with the instrument? These are a few of the things I have uncovered by layering intentional movement onto my playing. My list goes on.
The most amazing thing I have found is that I feel calmer when I play, both mentally and physically. Physically I notice it in my mouth. It was overworking as I played, letting that go as opened the door for more EVERYTHING!
