Do you ever notice your feet as you play? How do they relate to the ground? How do they move as you walk? …as you play?
Today’s awareness is all about feet. Whether you sit or stand, your feet influence every other part of your body. Pay attention to them today. Can you feel their relationship to the ground? are they equal? do you feel the tripods in contact? how much of my foot is contacting the ground?
You can also notice movement. Walk slowly for a few steps notice all of the adjustments that occur as you walk. Close your eyes and perhaps you will feel the movement more clearly.
Roll your feet from inside to outside. Feel the 26 bones in each foot respond and adjust for the movement.
Roll your feet from front to back, again notice the response ripple through your body.
I am so fascinated and in awe of the foot. It is an amazing structure and oh so powerful in the way we show up.
